Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Basically, SEO is promoting your website to search engines in order for it to be indexed and can easily be located. Making it to the top page of the search engines according to its keyword niche/market. SEO can be done in two(2) ways, manually (White Hat-SEO) and Automatic Software based (Black Hat-SEO). White Hat-SEO is simply following the guidelines of seach engines to optimize your website. Of course, it will take time to rank up your website to the top page. On the other hand, Black Hat-SEO drives your website in the shortest time to the top page of the search engines. Using some softwares to optimize your website in any other way, breaking the quality guidelines set by the seach engines, using tricks to get into the top ranks.

SEO is not just about making it to the top page rank but also giving quality service to your market/niche. I have been using Google Analytics for a week now and I have found out that they don`t only rank websites according to clicks/views but also on the time that viewers stay on your website digging your articles and some useful data you have on your site. Some websites are just merely popular for it gained thousands of traffic but viewer does not stay longer because of its irrelevant contents, spammy links, etc. SEO for me is not just popularity of the website, it is also about quality of the website.

Backlinks using Comment Kahuna

        To make money online is NOT that simple. Making website/blog is less complicated, but to make it earn  online is a lot of work to do. Even if we put thousands of image ads, banners, affiliate links, etc. It will not earn unless you get traffic to your site. Getting traffic to your site would be a lot of work. One way of getting traffic is through backlinks. 

       Backlinks are basically building links of your sites to other sites. not just any sites but relative sites and not just relative sites but relevant sites. Relevant High PR(page ranks) sites. Building backlinks are simply just making comments to relevant sites. 

        To make comments and search for high PR sites is a whole lot of work. Either doing it manually or  by using a software to do it for you. My video below explains the details on how to use the software. 

Being A Virtual Assistant

      I have been hired by a Canadian employer as a Virtual Assistant (V.A.) for his projects of making several blog sites to circulate around the web with health  topics such as  cold sores, hypothyroidism, hemorrhoids, stretchmarks, teeth whitening, and the like. This gives more challenge to explore more things than just about the topics but also to the process of advertising, promoting (SEO), programming, etc. Having these knowledge I think was impossible for me to achieve before but as I started to work on it, shows me that it`s not! Thanks for the help of my employer that taught me how to start with this job. I was just doing my task on a cybercafe when I started this job and now I have my own computer at home already. Being a virtual assistant, the first important thing is Communication. Communicate with your employer on every issue you encounter over the task assigned to you. Second is Initiative. If you can solve the problem in your own way, then do it and tell your employer how you did it (but be sure to make a back up before experimenting). Admit your mistake if something wrong happens. Make a research about the software,(gadgets, tools, programs, etc.) that your employer wants you to use. Don`t just rely on the information given by your employer. Your employer also observes the way you do the task efficiently and how you handle rare situations. Don`t just be contented with what you do, find ways to make things better. In that way, your employer will give credits on every positive things you do for the task ---or might give you a raise :)

Black Hat vs White Hat SEO

Seo techniques can be broadly categorized as recommended and approved techniques by search engines and those not approved by search engines. A SEO method is considered white hat if it is according to the guidelines set by the search engines. This method involves no deception and ensures that the content the site ranks for is the same content the user sees. The Black Hat SEO on the other hand, uses techniques like invisible text, and invisible iframes in order to promote the site on the internet. These are highly warned against by many search engines and can result in a ban against the site.
